Overview
I joined Ball during a transitional phase—just as they were preparing to migrate their website to Salesforce. I designed multi-viewport banners, working with in-house photography assets and creating heavily composited visuals when needed. I was also tasked with auditing and improving existing XD templates, and eventually became the point person for designing the new page layouts in Salesforce using dev-provided components.
I collaborated with the devops team to identify loopholes in Salesforce’s rigid design system and created custom layouts that elevated the site’s appearance without sacrificing function. Alongside this, I designed promotional emails, refined branding elements, and produced animated ads using After Effects—often learning tools on the fly to meet production demands.

Case Study
Challenge
Ball’s website was undergoing a full platform migration to Salesforce. Their original XD files were cluttered, inconsistent, and not aligned with updated brand goals. The dev team had begun building reusable Salesforce components, but the templates were overly rigid and lacked visual polish. The challenge was to translate these component structures into clean, user-friendly, brand-consistent designs that still aligned with Salesforce’s technical constraints.
Solution
I began by auditing the existing design files and identifying usability and brand consistency issues. I worked directly with the dev team to explore where component flexibility could be pushed and where creative problem-solving was needed. Using Adobe XD, I created page templates and layouts that worked within the Salesforce ecosystem while still feeling distinctly "Ball." These included product pages, lifestyle content sections, CTAs, and feature blocks — all modular and reusable.
Deliverables
In addition to the platform migration work, I also created:
-
Static and animated social ads (built in After Effects and Photoshop)
-
Promotional banners in multiple responsive sizes
-
Email designs using Photoshop slices for integration with Ball’s email system
-
Brand updates for both print and digital touchpoints to reflect the new web styling
Results
Although the platform migration was eventually redirected to Ceros, my work laid the foundation for a more structured and modern design system. I also strengthened collaboration across departments and delivered assets that were faster to implement, easier to scale, and more visually refined.
