FoodSaver Email Collage

Overview

As part of my contract with Newell Brands, I supported the FoodSaver team by creating digital and marketing assets across email, social, and early-stage UI. While my primary role focused on visual design, I also contributed to exploratory work for their upcoming website migration.

Despite limited direction and shifting platform decisions (Salesforce vs. Ceros), I proactively built early page designs and helped maintain consistency across brand materials, balancing functionality with FoodSaver’s more polished aesthetic standards.

Visual Design Execution

Delivered on-brand assets including email layouts and social ads.

Iconography

Case Study

Project Goals

  • Support ongoing marketing campaigns with static and animated visuals

  • Design responsive emails using the brand’s modular system

  • Contribute to internal presentations and early-stage UI design

  • Help improve brand consistency and flexibility across platforms

Deliverables

Marketing + Social Assets

  • Designed email layouts and campaign flows using FoodSaver’s email template system

  • Created a Facebook Story animation and pitch animations for icon-based marketing

  • Produced visual assets adhering to FoodSaver’s higher design standards, including custom illustrations and typography work

Animated Icons

  • Developed 2 animated icons as concept pitches for interactive use (social, UI, or ads)

  • Designed with flexible application in mind — minimal file size, loop-ready, and brand-consistent

Early Web Layouts

  • Created rough, responsive page designs that could be adapted for either Salesforce or Ceros

  • Focused on structure, layout hierarchy, and scalable sections based on existing content

  • Pages were intended as both visual design exercises and low-fidelity planning tools while platform decisions were still in flux

Key Outcomes

  • Delivered clean, consistent visuals under tight deadlines

  • Improved visual clarity and movement in a brand known for structured presentation

  • Pitched scalable icon solutions that encouraged more playful UI/UX possibilities

Next Steps

  • Prototypes coming soon (as platform direction was still undecided during my contract)

  • Final animations and email layouts to be added to this case study for download/view

Most FoodSaver work was visual-first, but I proactively initiated layout concepts and motion design to strengthen brand flexibility. Contact me for full asset previews or project files.
